Could you show how the "new" battery set up is done? Also how much room is left over in the stock...meaning could a "longer" battery be put in or a special battery made that fits both in the stock and the open area behind the bolt?

I'm thinking along the same lines as I am not to pleased with this new battery setup. I am thinking of making another T stock out of ABS and PVC plastic that is slightly larger to hold the first battery setup.

I just got my AGM Sten from evike.com, and it's apparently the "1.5 version." It has the adjustable hop-up, but still has the lipo battery.
This is my first lipo battery. Is this battery worth using or should I go ahead and buy a new one? Also, can anyone recommend a charger to buy? Or should I just get a power source for the balancer that came with the Sten?

Send it back to Evike, its AGM trying to off load the lipo version with an adjustable hop. A similar thing has been happening to a few lads over in the UK. You`ll probably find the stock is blank on the end and can`t take the new stick battery, looks like someone at AGM cocked up. There were a couple of mishaps in the uk with the LIPOs, one caught fire and burnt the wiring out on a sten whilst it was stood still doing nothing. Chinese NIMH batteries are bad enough so I certainly wouldn`t trust their LIPOs.

The lipoly is good, give it a try. The charger provided is okay will charge the battery in about an hours time.

It's been three days and I still can't get a full charge on the battery sent by AGM. I tested the gun with other bats from my other AGM's, so the gun works fine, it's the battery! I'm going to look into an adapter for my good charger, it's other than an AGM one. Maybe a better battery?

Well you definetly get what you paid for in this gun. If it's FPS is 300-330 like evike.com said.

Still think it's a good gun, just a crappy battery. I took the bat that I use in my MP44 and hooked it up, works great! So I built a new stock out of PVC large enough to hold the MP44's bat. Works and looks just as good. Wish I could post photos.
