Good morning ladies and Gents.
My name's Matt, friends and foes call me webby. I'm from Manchester in the UK, and I run and represent our Airsoft team "The Doughboys"
We're not an elitest bunch, we strive to get kit looking correct, we're always open for constructive criticism (The chap who usually plays as our Officer is a British far east re-enactor, and we all know how they can be!!)
We portray mainly Infantry divisions (depending on which game we goto) Usually the 1st Infantry Division, however we attended a game as 82nd airborne and 325th Glider infantry in our most recent game.
Here's a bunch of pictures for you all.... theres about 8 members who contribute regularly to our course, and perhaps another 10 who mingle in. We work our ranking system out on a game to game basis, electing a CO (who usually plays as a junior officer (2nd/1st LT) a Sergeant per platoon, and the rest Privates.
This is a pic from our most recent game based on the approach to Saint Lo. on about D-day +29

I'm the 82nd Paratrooper with the parachute covered helmet.
I use a Marushin 8mm M1 Carbine for Paratrooper impressions, and an 8mm Marsuhin M1 Garand for Infantry impressions.
In the UK we run a courtesy range of 25-30 metres for minimum engagement where a weapon too powerful for close range is used, which is why you may see more people carrying a .45 on the hip or in a shoulder holster. I actually prefer using my .45 (which is a Tokyo Marui one) and have quite a reputation amongst the Germans for using it well!
Hope you enjoy the photos, and I look forward to your comments and cross-atlantic banter
All the best
Matt
