How many watercooled m1919's would we need per side? 1 or 2? or should it be based on how many people show up

Too Tall makes a truly outstanding M1917 Water Cooled 30 Cal and as for how many you would "need"...? Strange question. If eight of you show up for an event, 2 is probably too many but I doubt anyone would complain.

www.ww1italianreenactors.com/if anyone is interested in purchasing an Italian or Austrian WW1 uniform you should check out this vender: www.sartoriaequipe.comVery reliable vender, good prices/package deals, and high quality I've heard Schipperfabrik stopped producing his Austrian uniform, so it seems that SE is the only place that makes them now. Forgot to mention that he does speak English and accepts credit cards and Paypal

They make the "odd" WW2 Countries, Belgium,Holland, Poland. Awesome field gear.

the future is bright, i guarantee by the end of the year, ww1aa will have over 100 members, and at least one event either in planning or that already happened

Ahahahaha If I ever have a bad day I know who to bring it to World war 1 is somewhat promising though. If the impression gets cheaper to do, you find a way to mimic the feeling of true trench warfare(Gas and what not) there is a chance. I support this guy 100% but unless you have access to a very large Field and a lot of backhoes its going to be hard. Don't get all worked up though this stuff takes a long time. To start try and get a few customs together to help get the wave going.

I think I'm might know how to build a very cheap and fairly effective springfield. If things work out I will let you know. I am trying to decide weather to do a tropical FJ impression or do some sort of US impression The olny problem is it is ungodly expensive to go doughboys in world war 1

First of all,Marines were Marines,NOT Doughboys. The uniform is a different color,as is the web gear. More green than brown or khaki of the Army. And again, the MOST used rifle used by the United States was the M1917 Enfield. Hell, even Sgt. York used one,no matter what the movie shows! Its the weapon I use when I do WW1. And American units fighting with the Brits were issued British No. 1 Mk III Enfields.

Not enough noise Not enough people WAY TO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!! and don't take me dropping the forum anything personally its just there really is no point in talking about a french machine gun that always jams and a cardboard plane game??
