It is a classic WWII documentary series. While it has a heavy emphasis on the British experience and Western Front themes overall, it does present some Eastern front and Pacific war episodes as well.
While some of information may appear a bit dated, due to recent historical advancements and research with declassified documents and the opening of Soviet archives, it is still pretty much on target overall. To me, the gem of the series is the numerous interviews with leading figures of the conflict that are no longer with us today, such as Speer, Galland, numerous American and British diplomats/politicians/soldiers, etc.
Overall, its worth the price you'll pay for it, as it has aged well.
