Boris y Natasha, Dah-links, Moose gun shoot good now!
I made a couple of minor tweaks to the hi-cap feed on the prototype and installed the correct set screw in the hop-up. What a difference the right part makes. The hop works beautifully now. I just chronographed it for the first time this morning - 356fps, a solid 30fps more than expected! It has that AGM M14 surprisingly high ROF as well. While the short barrel means that it's not the most accurate airsoft gun in my rack, it definitely sends a BIG cloud of BBs downrange in a BIG hurry. It also sucks its battery dry a lot quicker than my AGM MP40, but I guess that's to be expected with higher fps and much higher ROF.
Tellyaonethinghey, these things will be wicked as a Siberian blizzard in the hands of aggressive players buzzing around in village or woodland settings. Very intimidating, very Russian. I've been walking around all day with mine hanging around my neck, grinning like an idiot in love....
The first batch of fiberglass parts has been pulled, jim and tobbe and the rest of you. Muddy and I will be turning stocks next week, then I start cleaning 'em up and sticking 'em together.

lollipops hunter33, please do not post on a thread that has been idle for several weeks unless you have something more important than "seconding" to contribute.

What does necro posting have anything to do, first off it was only a couple weeks after the last post, and also, this is a sticky... so... what would the problem be?? Its not like he is bringing back a dead thread. Im curious, has anybody bought one of these on here? If so how about a review?? -Cary

jimseery posted a quick review of his. I'm hoping Tobbe will share his thoughts with us as well. The Europeans have been ordering these at a much brisker pace than the Americans.

That has been my experience as well. The US however is starting to pick up. I think your sub machine gun is absolutely brilliant and am anxious to see additional offerings!

Thanks, Bat! My next piece with commercial potential is an AGM M14 conversion to an SVT-40. To keep the price down, it keeps all the AGM internals and mag as well as the plastic butt/lower stock but relaces the upper works with a one-piece bolt-on fiberglass nose/upper stock/receiver assembly. Some surgery to the stock and the M14 receiver will be required, plus a decent metal and woodgrain paintjob, but the whole thing should be a complete cakewalk compared to building one of these PPSh-41s. It should be especially reasonable as a conversion kit for those aspiring Soviets who already own an AGM M14. I'm doing a quick & dirty DP this way as well, but will probably wait on offering a DP for general sale until I can engineer a decent top-feed "Emma" drum mag.

The SVT-40 is a really logical choice for a conversion and could serve both Soviet and German airsofters as they were a very popular capture weapon by German and Finnish soldiers. It would also serve Nam softers as they were occassionally seen in the hands of VC during the early years of the war. Great choice for a project. The M-14 could be readily adpated to a close approximation or frankly left unalterred. Looks like a new thread and a great new offering!

Somebody had a nice-looking Suomi conversion for sale on this board recently. Fisto, I can custom-build one for you if you're in the market. PM me.

Likewise click I'm also an American, currently in the U.S. actually, and yes I have Polish roots. What city are you in Krakow , Warszawa, Poznan? Sorry to go off of this thread's topic...I actually mean to ask another question Gryphon. How is your SVT 40 project? How much would you say it would cost for you to make me one?

Polski, keep you eyes on the Armory/Technical section of this forum. Once all is ready, I'll post pics and announce the SVT-40 sale price in its own thread. It should be significantly less than the PPSh-41 AEG. My business' busy season is starting, but I'll plug away at the SVT prototype as things allow. Stay tuned....

This is great! D'you have any plans to routinely sell 'em? Also, what's the estimated velocity, rate of fire, and mag capacity?
Great stuff . . . I'd buy one just to park behind the back door to "stimulate" the T-can-tithing raccoons. I'm an old vet, and fell for it when I had the chance to use heck out of a VC-donated pippa-shaw. The full wood stock gives it real good longer-range accuracy and short-burst hit capacity. I never got off on the hip-high rock-n-roll "lead hose" shooting; I tended to want to hit something with every burst.

jacksavage-don't expect a quick answer. The gun's builder is busy with another project till mid-July and I think absent from these boards till then though he might surprise us. www.airsoftbattlezone.com/sgscustomairsoft.htmlis the place to go if you are interested.
