Some of these have already been built in Finland, but here's mine. The airsoft part is a Chinese vsr-copy and shoots around 370-400fps.

Looks great with the work done to the Trigger guard and the receiver. I would love to see some high quality pictures. (If possible)

DOG very nice. You've come a long way since your original Springfield which certainly inspired me to do mine. You're starting to have a pretty elaborate collection of WW2 weapons! Incidently there will shortly be a dozen Garand AEGs in Finland once the last three arrive. You obviously have a very avid WW2 living history group in your country.

OK. Now the pictures should be OK and more informative. Here's M/39 in an original photo: This guy is a member of Finnish long range patrol. The photo was took in summer 1942, after 46 day long patrol about 150 miles behind enemy lines.

Very nice! I like the receiver work. That looks hard. It looks like the magazine fits in nicely too. That's a good looking conversion.

Have you thought about making a Finnish M28, then you or someone could do a Simo Häyhä impression.

Heres my version of the same rifle: koti.mbnet.fi/ttt85/M39/Type96.htmlThe other nagants on that web page are owned by others. All of these are built in small part by me, and mostly by a friend of mine. Here is a pic of me and a couple of buddies brandishing Continuation War kit and custom rifles.

Some of these have already been built in Finland, but here's mine. The airsoft part is a Chinese vsr-copy and shoots around 370-400fps. The gun looks awesome! Do you think the it would be possible to do the same thing using a gas rifle as a donor gun? I.e. KJW M700 or something similar?
