Good for objectives like one of those wooden buildings deemed the "Wolf's Lare" that you have to destroy. I have done stuff like that before.

Gordak, I can insert a nerf in through the breech but, would just have to make sure it is forward of the hopup. Although I have yet to locate a 2.5" diameter nerf. @2nd Bat, Mac, had a fantastic time! Had nothing but great things to say about battlesim. I'm looking forward to meeting any liaison's from the north west should they venture out this way. Shooting it at buildings would be almost too easy. The bazooka has greater range than an aeg, the target area would have to be smaller. Knocking a trash can off the top of the building would be more of a challenge. Knock the can down, or off, would indicate the building or structures' destruction. A long range version of "Kick the can". ///ed///

BigEd,
Thanks for the kind words. Mac refers to you as "The Bouncer" and is a huge fan of your creations. The Nerf stuff adds a lot as it reduces the out of range taunting nonsense that so detracts from the emmersion we try to create. At one point at the Gadsden game a squad of VC rather nonchalantly crossed an open area and was somewhat bunched up as they entred a forested trail head. All of this was within plain sight of the Firebase and It was so blantant it almost seemed as though it was a deliberate distraction.
One of the guys in camp had a mortar like launcher and asked me if he should take a shot. (About 13o yards away) I said go ahead. He had two rounds enroute before the first one hit. They both were spot on and essentially obliterated the squad. A couple absolutely amazing shots. The survivors ran into the forested trail right into an ambush Mac and his patrol had set up.
I wish I had, had it on film. There were no more cases of lolly gagging by the VC NVA during daylight hours. Very very cool. There is some talk about us flying out to help with a New England Vietnam event which would be great fun.

Guinness, My bazooka is powerful than their bolt action tennis ball gun. I will try get someone to video it from three different perspectives. Firing, Shot fired at, and Side shot. @2nd Bat, (Quick mortar story) I had a similar shot - Four opposing members were standing in a circle BS'ing. I launched a water balloon round from the parking lot (blind-fire), and hit one of them directly on top of the head. He was unhurt - he just yelled "What the hell just happened!?". The other three were sprayed with water and were stunned. The one I hit had a piece of lime green balloon on his hat. The came up to me later and told me what happened. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. You can BIVOAC at the field. There is a deuce & half there, and the CP tent (20 x 40) which may be left up for the summer months. ///ed///

well i went ahead and built my own. shes pretty much a real bazooka considering she shoots real rockets. well hobby rockets anyway. i made the front cone peices with foam so when the rocket impacts it accordians up. it has a hell of a backblast though. im taking it to my buddies house on aug 1st so ill get some shots of it firing then.

Be very careful. The ATF may visit you. Any device that is capable of launching rockets horizontally is illegal in every state in the US. Mostly due to the local state fire hazard codes. But especially due to the federal laws launching rockets.

Damn right! Your bazooka put a round right through the front view port of the first bunker from at least 75 ft away! I was lucky I pulled my head back otherwise I would have been hit right in the face.

I love the "Uh oh" on the second one.... Start a fire? Hit a Neighboor?
That being said, I'm going to have to make one of these now.

Much like selling real steel rifles I don't think the WW2AA management would like you to sell something that shoots a rocket. It may raise questions with the BATF on legality even if it is perfectly legal we do not need any sort of Govt. heat. Please desist from any more discussion about making these for sale.

Did anyone actually use it in Mignano? We had 1 Panzerfaust and 1 Bazooka, but I don't think they were used. The 36th Inf brought one up in the middle of the day, but I don't think anyone actually used it. Of course the 82nd might have.

Has anyone had the thought of trying to make a BB version using the gas grenades? Loading might be abit iffy with it needing to be near the "muzzle" of the bazooka, but it would be great fun to pop out from behind a bush and lay 100 or so bb's into someone with that on your shoulder!!!

All these Bazookas have airtanks intalled in them making them incapable of shooting anything remotly close to a live round.

Im building one right now that uses nerf rockets and a 40 mm airsoft grenade. You have to make it breech loading if you do though, which wont be an issue. and, no, TG they all do not have affixed air supply/tanks mine is completely hollow all the way through. so really if i wanted to i could go find a live round and shoot it with no trouble at all.

I was making a sweeping generalization so that if anyone decided to look this forum and try to get people in trouble they would not be. But good job in saying you made a live rocket launcher TommyGunner

yeah I have seen those before but they are kinda hokey looking if you ask me. I would not mind seeing them on the field, but a much more accurate one can be made by even the average Joe givin enough time.

The moscart firing bazooka does not need to be a breech loader if you are willing to make it slightly off of the real deal. Here is the one I built using PVC. This was right before I finished it, and below is the simple system I used to make it work from the front. Basically a simple lever is used to capture a pin glued to a hole in the inner barrel. It is barely noticeable on the finished model (which would be even less noticeable if I would paint the lever. It is capable of firing either bbs or nerf footballs, and range depends on what grenade is used. I get about 120 feet with high arching using a nerf and POM grenade. It is accurate enough to hit my full size van at that range. Hope this doesn't interfere with the OP.

gosh, it seems easy enough to build, but what i can never figure out is how to fire it, such as pressurizing it up and such.

That would present a challenge, I was thinking about an air valve with like a paintball tank.
