If you don't mind going to a Star Wars site, there is a Tutorial and Reference Pics page with measurements etc on how to make a MG-15. Just ignore the extra scopes etc and you should have a stock WWII weapon. Courtesy of TK-409's Do it Yourself Star Wars Props: I actually came from there to here to see how I could turn the dummy props into working airsoft AEGs.

yeah on cushman the sell an MG-15 vacuum form for about $50 bucks and the whole thing is formed around a PVC pipe Use an AK and throw on some extra weight and you got yourself a world war(s) Luftwaffe Heavy Machine Gun Ohh and I know this is really picky but why did you call yourself a luftwaffe field impression instead of just an FJ(fallschirmjager) impression?

FJ(fallschirmjager) are Paratroopers. Luftwaffe Field Division were members of the Luftwaffe that were made into infantry units. Both two very different things. Google it for more info ;D

yeah, Luftwaffe field divisions were also part of the AA crews that were operating on airfields and the like. My impression is Luftwaffe Infantry, some units of FJ got folded into the LFD also I believe. I use a FJ helmet for my impression and one of the LFD Splinter coats field coats. IMA has nice kits, but I am in college, therefore i am poor.

Hi there! I try to revitalize this dead topic... Me interested in MG-15 too... So I searched /google for photos... I found manyIncluding a nice plan (stormtrooper heavy blaster): Definetly I would make this one: Sights are bit funny (planned for air/anti-air combat), but easy to make, and effective too... That water cooled one is as ugly as hell (henece it has much usable sights), and maybe the trommelmagazine is better if using manual high cap or electric feed. I know my limitations (I made M14, AKM, SV98 woodsets, some fiber glass M14 stocks, including bullpup), so there is no way to make it from steel or aluminium (if I want to do it at home). The only possibility is make it from PVC (I started to like that stuff while making fake magazine for the SV98). Guys, what do you think; is PVC strong enough, to be used on the airsoft "battlefield"? Renegadecow made many guns from it on the arnies, but I was always sceptical...

Printed out and guled together the blueprints. It will be huge (1,3 meter without the buttsock). I need 6cm diameter PVC tube for the body, 4cm for the ventillated heat shield, and 2 cm for the outer barrel. Because the grip is at the end of the gun, it could have about 1,2 meter inner barrel... It would be totally useless, so I put just my Marui AK47 internals in. To fix them I incorporate an old CYMA AK body into the 6cm tube.
