KKen ~ Working out schedule details but probably a 10-11am kick off missions are 1-1.5 hours. We generally incorporate a main mission and then several running side missions throughout the day to be completed for extra points throughout the day. We schedule a night mission. This mission will get bumped if it is really dark and or storm or cold as balls. I don't want anyone getting hurt for 1 night mission. Sundays we normally lose a lot of participants but we run a few scenarios Sunday morning 10am-1pm if we have some people that want to play and we normally have a little crowd of diehards that want to. it doesn't normally effect points or who wins or loses So if you needed to take off and drive home don't feel bad:) Then we go home.
SC~ Your first message got deleted because you were telling me. "I can't come but maybe in 2 years." That's well and fine but kind of just clogs the thread for no real purpose. I do however hope to see you in 2 years and you are certainly welcome to come on down.

oh snap did'nt realize it was a 2 day event, was under the impression it was 1 day so that makes it an easier decision to show! will we have to provide our own tentage/acommodations for the night or barracks wouldn't happen to be in the mix? getting excited for this!

We don't have the resources that bigger orginizations have. Please bring your own tentage. Should it be too cold for you there are several hotels in the area. I hope to get a large army tent for the next season but do not currently have one.

We camp pretty much together. We can split camps up some but not as much as we would like. there just isn't enough land suitable for camping. I'll post a map of the area and some pictures to give you an idea.

no worries dude, just asking all these questions now so i know what to bring and stuff. i am in no way saying you should do this, or do that because these dudes do that. trust me, i know the difficulties of organizing and running an event. just color me excited as i haven't played since like october lol. really looking forward to this event and hopefully bringing some other VA boys with me.

Updated the first post with our safety and FPS limits. I want everyone to be aware of any rules that may dissuade them before they get to entrenched in preparing to come. We have run numerous games since 2001 and have found our rules practical and safe. Others views may vary and I want everyone to be informed.

Can't wait to meet some new people I have only seen on here.
Roster has been updated we are currently at 14 players with more than a month to go before the game. I expect a good turnout in the 35-50 player range. We will close registration down a week before the event. Walk ons are not allowed as we need to prepare scenarios and other things with an exact amount in mind. If you have an issue with paypal PM me and we can work something out to accomodate you.

Update:Operational Map Added www.worldwar2airsoft.com/meatgrinder/mgmap.jpgField is about 20 acres and is heavily bunkered with a large twon area and many wooden buildings through out the field. We are at 24 people paid and on the roster and I am still expecting more to come in the next couple weeks. Leaning really heavy on the German side so I am hoping for some Allied sign ups. I have a couple of surprises for this one that I think everyone will love. Be sure to get registered as there is no day of walk on play allowed. Registration open until Friday the 26. Some pictures of the new part of the town being built: This part is marked Bastogne on the map. There are more buildings in this area now (about 12) with more to be added before the event by the field owner. He supports and is involved in WW2 airsoft. Hmmm that is pretty open I wonder will the Germans mortar such a tasty target? St. Vith and Hosingen area: Bitburg area: Prum: Example of some of the other buildings spread out over the field.
