Well, I just thought I'd post this, I thought it was pretty neat, IMA-USA just released some resin molded models of the Type 97 and Type 99 hand grenades, which (I beleive) where the most prominently issue hand grenade of the Imperial Japanese military. They are both around $30, the main difference being the Type 97 is ribbed for better grip. I'll probably buy a few (being a militaria lover). If I did an IJA impression I probably wouldn't go around throwing those, I have never used resin so I don't know if its tough and will hurt others or if it's brittle and will shatter, more of a for'looks piece.
I have both there Kar98 and M1 Garand bayonets. They are very nice quality and don't feel or look like they will break easily. The blades can bend. They look excellent nice paint job also. The Kar98 bayonet blade wobbles if you swing it around. I would buy from again.

Just thought Id throw this in here, Im sure everyone here is capable of playing safe and what not, but ive had a bad personal experiance with HARD (emphasis) resin/wood grenades I dont know how hard these ones are. But I do know that the ones we used BEFORE the incedent were pretty hard, hard enough to mabye, shatter someones kneecap? Yeah, we use ones made out of rubber and styrofoam now..........
Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
