Brian, Please consider a Heer impression, we are paying good money! Bob, Carpooling sounds good! Mike's station wagon is awesome! It is like sailing a boat! -G >> LOL, and it looks like a boat! I'm readying my M36 tunic as I speak. I bought it like 4 years ago, never put the insignia on it yet! I haven't done Heer in quite a few years! I'm getting psyched!

Thank you for giving me the German commander position Mark! You will be sorry ;D
Here is how it looks...
Historically this area was occupied by the 91st Luftlande division. Ideally what we would like to recreate are the following:
1058th Grenadier regiment- White Waffenfarbe
1st Battalion of the Mountain Artillery regiment- red waffenfarbe (This was the battalion tasked with manning this Battery after the original crew abondoned it during the night of Airborne landings)
6th Fallschirmjager regiment- any Fallschirmjager impression
9th SS Panzer Division "Hohenstaufen"
If you guys have not been looking at the first post of this thread, you should as Mark has been updating it with new and exciting ideas that will make this an WW2AA event to not be missed! -G

The 3rd Panzergrenadiers will be there. Looks like five of us right now. We'll be a heavy weapons squad. Looking forward to seeing many of you again.

Any idea what kind of numbers we are looing at? What is planned for grenade rules? Will there be any vehicles to worry about? These things are of particular interest to me since I usually run extra explosives and AT. I watched that video with the village area and my hand kept reaching for the grenade pouch of its own accord. If (foam) dummy grenades are allowed (like we use in the MOA) I can bring several dozen and arm up the whole German side.

I was also curious about the grenade rules and about rifle grenades (the kind that attach to the end of the barrel) whether they were permitted. In addition what are the BB rules? I assume it is BYOBB, are there any weight restrictions, should they be biodegradable?

I figure we should have 6 artillery men since this is a battery and there are only a few of us versatile enough to do it! It will be something cool and different!

Wolfgang, We adapted the MOA grenade rules at our Rhineland event but Mark will most likely have the final say depending on the field owner of course. Gerry

We will also be using MOA grenade rules for this event
*Player(s) are in a building and a grenade comes through the window or door - all occupants are dead
*Player(s) are in a trench, foxhole, mg nest etc (prepared position) and the grenade lands within the position - all occupants are dead. This does not include brush piles or other 'environmental' cover, such things would be considered fighting in open space.
*A player must disperse if they're fighting in open space (the woods, a field, around a building etc) and a grenade lands near (less than 6 feet) them. Failure to do so results in elimination. A player is eliminated if the grenade hits them or they touch it.
*Grenades cannot be used against vehicles for reasons of safety in that it would encourage players to get too close to motor vehicles.
*No overhand throws are allowed until the availability of 'soft' grenades. Side-arm and underhand tosses are acceptable.
*Availability of grenades is dependent on the individual player's class. Currently only Riflemen and SMG Gunners may equip themselves with grenades. "

I'd like to suggest the fellow on here gunfighter who produces foam grenades they would be perfect. I use them and like them.

Will this event be lowcaps only? >> Most WW2 AS weapons do not have low caps. Especially the STG's.
