Another sad factor to consider with the VSR magazines is they are extremely tempermental with regard to discharging their Bbs at the slightest provocation. Hence if you are hauling them loaded as spare clips be very careful with them as the BBs tend not to want to stay in the clips when hauled as spares.
I wrap a small rubber band around the feed hole and then quickly remove it with my thumb on the BB neck prior to loading. Kind of a pain but better than going for your spare clip and finding it empty.
Typically I never survive beyond the 30 ready rounds on my initial load anyway when using my bolt action rifle but I generally take a few folks out prior to my demise. Though less competitive than a semi or fully auto rifle I do love the bolt action rifle for the challenge the fun and authenticity.

I do the same thing, well in video games, if there is a really bad weapon I like to use it and try to do my best against people using the best weapons. oh and thanks for the help, luckly I didnt buy any mags yet.

The mind wanders again. I wonder if you could shorten the VSR mag and block off the end of the magwell. Or, alternatively (looking at a VSR mag and a Mossberg 500 mag I bought for my M1 project), cut a new notch in the Mossberg mag to match the VSR and block off the magwell. A bit of work though just to use the mag pouches.

Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
