Hi there guys!
I've seen and talked tru PM to 2ndbat but since you guys are in the US and I'm in Europe it can't be done, at least for a nice price for me... Portuguese customs suck!
So, here in europe I've seen a real M1 Garand deactivated, my question is..........Is it easy to pick up the real one dissasembly it and turn that to my TM M14??
The way I see it, it seems that I just need to work on the front part of the M14 right?

Well i am sure others can answer this better, but the basic parts of the garand you need are the hand guards, ferrules, and gas cylinder assembly. The stock you can keep as the M14 one, and with a little bit of work you can make it cosmetically, an M1 Garand. if you have the time to do it it is well worth it. Its pretty simple in the end, but if you disassemble a real M1 a lot of parts are going to waste.

What about the Magazines? I heard that the ACM Shotgun mags stoped being made! Every store is out of stock!

Go for it! I'm in the UK and I've managed to source all of the parts for my Garand ok.
The ACM shotgun mags are indeed rarer than rocking horse doo doo at the moment. I think 2ndBat bought the worlds' supply!

The shotgun mags go in and out of availability and it does on occassion make me crazy but usually you can find them somewhere. The project is very doable for anyone comfortable disassembling just the main gun body from the stock. You don't have to go into gear boxes or do much tweaking at all.
For countries that inhibit actual Garand parts from import my new molded kit would be an excellent approach. Everything is pre-finished and pre-shaped to fit and the project is a very mangeable weekend project.
Also obviously shipping the molded components would be considerably cheaper than the full blown conversion.

Well my easiest way is to buy a deactivated Garand here in europe, it costs around 150€ at least I get the stock..(is it possible to fit the AEG into that with some tweaking?)
Where can I find a guide to making Clips out of M14 low caps?
What shotgun mags work?

There is a full blown thread (at least one) here in the technical section about making the shortened mags with step by step tutorial on how to build them and what parts to use. Shortening the M14 mags is much harder than converting the shotgun mags (and more expensive) I have had no luck whatsoever converting an actual Garand stock and have butchered several trying. It's much more straight forward to build up and convert the M14 existing stock into the reasonable appearance of a Garand and there is a full blown tutorial on that as well.

2ndBat I'm searching and searching but can't find the 2 threads you are talking about!! Maybe the search system is failing me! Could you point it out for me? Sorry for being such a pain in the ass!!
Also you talked about the shotgun mags but only one kind works? which kind?

I don't think there is a thread on that. You could try converting the UTG Shotgun mags. A guy in that thread did it and their pretty cheap, available, and still easier then M14 mags

I originally converted the M14 mags and thankfully no longer have to do so. The shotty clips are sooooooo much easier and signicantly better in most everyway.
