If it's your first gun, get one that works. Leave the refurbs to the airsmiths

The Refurbished MP40 is guaranteed to work and is made by AGM. It is a really good deal and a great starter gun. Buy it. I got the refurbished Thompson and its as good as new and way cheaper then the rip off prices at Dunhams or other retail stores. www.kapowwe.com/refurbished-mp40.html

Be carefull.. I bought a refurb MP40 from Kappowee back in August and one day when I was shooting it in October it died. It hasn't fired since then. Their warrenty only covers 30 days.

Are you sure it wasn't the battery? My battery was horrible sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. We thought something might be wrong with the gun but when we got a new battery it fixed everything.

First off I wouldn't buy from Airsplat or Evike. Why? Airsplat is know for selling broken, non working items that seem to be used. It is really hit or miss with them and I wouldn't take the chance of getting a miss. Evike is known for being really slow and often unresponsive. Airsoft Mega Store has MP40's for $120.00 btw www.airsoftmegastore.com/Airsoft_AGM_Full_Metal_Gearbox_MP40_AEG_p/mp007.htm

Airsoft megastore is ok as well. Bottom line is that it is definitely worth the extra $20-30 for a new gun. yea, all airsplat weapons i have seen, are crap. i knew a kid who had a sniper rifle from airsplat, and it split in half. hahaha Ok? Airsplat's MP40 is the exact same MP40 you will buy at any other store. I cannot speak to the quality of Airsplats other offerings, but their MP40 is fine.

We thought something might be wrong with the gun but when we got a new battery it fixed everything. Yeah, I have tried all 3 of my batteries and it still didnt fire. One thing odd about it is that even when the safety is on, the trigger can still be pulled all the way back.

on my MP40 the only safety is not having the battery in and having the switch off so no matter what on my gun you can pull the trigger back. i bought mine from airsplat and the battery died after the second time i used it

The batteries that come with Chinese guns are pretty much junk so if your getting one you should plan to get a new one plus a better charger too.

I probably would contact them never know they might help. A lemon is a gun that didn't work well from when it came out of the factory.

Oh, thanks. I guess I will try contacting Kappowe about it, or I could probaly take it to my local Airsoft Arena to get it serviced.

Me and a couple pals ordered the three refurbished pack from kapowwe, one person got the JG Sig 552, another got the CYMA AK47, and I got the CYMA Thompson. The AK broke about a month afterwards, the 552 was missing its rear sight and had quite a bit of scratching, still works though, but the Thompson didn't come with a motor, but was in mint never been used condition. So personally, I'd just buy a new one if I were you.

My thomposn came with scratch marks all the way down the barrel, I encountered the problem with my MP40, and the baterry to my friend's AK47 never worked from the get go.
