Me and my friend are starting a team based around the wehrmacht (i.e. all branches of military) and the tactics they used. unfortunately for us most ohio airsofters are into modern military simulations which we're quite frankly fed up with.
What we are doing is getting an MG42 and basing the squad around that, using tactics used by the germans. All German weapons are acceptable as long as they are good quility and perform adequately.
If you are interested in joining it would be nice if you're located within an hour and a half of Columbus, but it's fine if your located somewhere in Ohio. You have to be able to make trips to various fields around Ohio.
You have to show commitment towards getting the proper gear and uniform (just basic gear and uniform, however you can go overboard if you like ;D)
If you don't really know where to find uniforms and equipment we can help you find good deals and give you websites.
My name is Matt and my e-mail is email@example.com

I suggest posting this in the Recruiting Forum
www.ostfrontairsoft.com If it has tracks or wheels, I can hit it with the PAK If you aren't going to take the effort to check your spelling, I also won't expect you to take the effort to be offended when I mock your poor spelling. You see that little red line... that means you messed up.
Hey - we'd love to have some Jerry's in Ohio. Right now we can field a team of US troops anytime so if you can get some guys together we can play against, that'd be awesome!
Try to rally some folks to your cause over at airsoftohio also. And- if you'd like to contribute to my site: ww2airsoft.weebly.com that would be appreciated. We need some good info in the German section.
I have posted on airsoftohio but most people are already in another unit or just don't have the money. The only real way we're going to get the team going is by getting out to events dressed up and ready to kick some ass
Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
