So the big question that I cant seem to answer is this: Is there any difference between the AGM and the AEM Mp-40? I would think that they are same manufacturer, but with different names such as the Jing Gong and the Echo1s...both are the same exact rifles, but have been distributed by different companies.
I'm mainly asking in regards to gettin magazines and making sure that I can find compatible ones.

If they aren't the same. They are probably very similar. My guess is that the AEM magazines will work with the AGM.

Beer Buddy, I think he meant ACM, ... or maybe it was OEM... or REM... or who knows.
Pointman, AGM is a Brand while ACM is a Chine made desciption, there are several MP-40 airsoft gun models on the market.
TOP (Japan Made AEG and their mags only fit) SRC (Taiwan made Electric Blow back and only their mags fit) AGM (China Made AEG, only their mags or the king arms brand fit) Marushin ( Japan made Gas Blow back 8mm GBB and only their mags fit this gun) Double Eagle ( a $10 plastic springer... don't bother)
If I was buying again I would stick with AGM or the SRC. TOP requres expensive modifications for it work well and Marushin is gas... I don't like gas guns

"Beer Buddy" ...love it ;D I'm going to order the SRC from UNCo. (only place I've seen carry them) next week, because one thing that does separate their MP40 from the rest, other than the electric-blow back gimmick is it has Waffenampts and markings And well, everyone needs 3 MP40's...don't they?

War 4 also carries them. I may get my third too since the PPsH is delayed the the MG42 has vanished till at least summer (not holding my breath) www.airsoft-war4.com/w4_aeg.php?b=SRCBy the way, walk-in price here is US$225.00 at War 4

I have no idea what shipping is to the US is but it can probably be done for less that what they charge. The only thing is they have that I can't cover are guarantees for returns or lost shipments.

Roger that- I have always assumed that shipping was a 'profit center' for them anyway Well, we can talk about it more next week, I don't want you to go way out of your way, if its easy to do though maybe we can figure something out. I would imagine also that if you pick it up there, then they wont remove the trades...? Thanks man!

I would leave the trades alone unless you want me to take my 6" grinder to it? It would need that silly orange tip though.

Do they sell those little orange plastic screw-on flash hiders over there? that maybe you could put on instead of the real muzzle nut?
And no, lol I don't want you to go dremel crazy lol- I meant they don't destroy trades on the guns they sell locally, but you answered that lol.

Having shipped guns all over the world I've always been impressed with the quoted prices. Definitely NOT a profit center as near as I can tell. Ebayers often hose you with a low starting price and outrageous shipping quote but the HK companies seem pretty much spot on with quoted costs. It's expensive shipping overseas. I got seriously hosed by Fed Ex the other day when they quoted me a shipping cost to Denmark of 84.00 four weeks ago only to hit me up at 209.00 claiming a price increase and the fact that my demensions were slightly off as was my weight estimate (by two pounds) Ouch!!!!!
I didn't like eating that.
