That would be awesome if some of you guys could make it up for this. I'd really like to get some of us down for one of your events one of these days as well. I have not yet emailed Jeff, however I plan to today.

We're putting a lot more work into the field in preparation for this event and will be adding some props too (signs etc). This will be a fun "living history meets tactical" type event, with both sides operating out of bases, some with trenches or bunkers. The area of play is fairly large (you can conduct patrols and ambushes without simply stumbling into the enemies base), but cannot be accessed by vehicles. Everything must be humped into the field and setup. SgtTom, Thank you for the praises. We've all worked hard on our impressions and the compliments help drive our motivation. - Bill aka Bizcuits

Hey Bill/Ryan,
your field improvement efforts are not going unnoticed! Ryan shared images of your field a month or so ago and it looked great. what's the location so I can plot out the drive time. we'll largely be coming from thousand oaks Ca.
currently I have a soft count of 5 FJ or SS [we can do either depending on your scenario needs or both] and one Axis partisan Volksturm

Tom,
If you guys are planning to caravan up and get rooms, there are a couple of hotels really close to the field about 15 minutes away. I can shoot you over their information if you'd like.

So as of right now, it looks like we have about 30 people showing up. Split about even US/German with a few partisans.
If anyone else is interested in this event, contact myself or Uscha Bahr and we will get you the location and other info needed.

It's not a horiblely long walk, depends on how heavy the stuff is. We are going to bring a cart to hual out our props, we might be able to get you guys a cart of something to help get any stuff you want to bring out as well.
I have seen the fake barbed wire you speak of, it does looks awesome.
