Good info. Putting the tailpiece on is where I stopped on my M24 conversion. I've been contemplating how to do it for about a month now.

In looking at them I wouldn't have assumed those mags would work in a BAR 10 conversion. i definitely like that they are smaller and the price is great. How many rounds do they feed? It definitely will save some dremel work vs the full sized bar 10 mags and be less distracting visually. When I get home I intend to do a Bar 10. dboys marriage and will go with these mags.
As you discovered custom rifle sales is a tough row to hoe.

I also added some nylon washers cut to match the insides of the Bar10 Bolt shroud and help with the bearing at the back of the cylinder, as well as limit the pivot on the bolt handle. Cut about 1/4 of each out, then stacked them with JB Weld in between until flush with the metal on the back of the shroud.

The magazines require slight modification as they are a little toO short. What I did was glue a piece of a cheap wooden ruler to them to make up the difference. A pretty easy fix overall tho. They hold about 15 rounds I believe. The other nice thing is that they fit in Kar98 pouches nicely. insterburger, Nice modification. Drilling metal though is a pain in the neck for me, which is why I went the other way.
