Twobly - Looks awesome, I like that second picture of you in the dry grass field. I noticed your signature, and I might suggest you change "Kilo Company" to "King Company"; Kilo is the modern phoenetic for "K" wheras during WWII a different phoenetic alphabet was used. M14 - Looks pretty good, and there's 3 of y'all too! From what I can tell it looks pretty nice, I'll let the airborne afficionados pick over it more. Only thing I'd suggest is it looks like you have a cotton khaki shirt, so find yourself a wool shirt, and keep that finger off your trigger unless you're aiming and about to shoot. Doesn't matter if it's unloaded or not, that's just plain weapons safety. Especially with those gloves on it would be easier to hit the trigger with only a slight movement of your finger. Abunai ne!

Thanks a lot, Go4Broke i really appreciate this. I searched and i found out that we used a NATO phonetic code which was used since 1953.... Thank you for your correction, I'll report that to my SQL and we'll change the name of the company to "King"

Thank you, Gordak. Well we're the only WWII USMC reenactors in the Czech Republic. I can post a picture of our whole fire team. WWII USMC isn't the most attractive impression here... So there's still only four of us.

twombly, great entheuasm. being one of the few is always a bold move (and personal investment) when it comes to re-enacting a unit unpopular in your area. hopefully others will join you and continue to improve their impressions with the same effort that you have thus far. m14, great work as well, your setting might not be as appropiate as some of the other pictures taken here but the impressions are coming along very nicely. besides, the impressions are what really matters. good luck on your m14 to garand conversion and hope it comes out as good as 2nd bats (tough competition though).

I will have more photos up this weekend, since i have my whole unit getting together. Thanks for the compliments -Cary

Twombly: Awesome. I'm glad to see that thw WW2AA is really expanding. I'd say that this is good enough for the "Stitch Not-See" thread.
m14rifleman: Nice impression. I see that it is really coming along. All you need is a weapon and you're ready for the "Stitch Not-See" thread.

Trigger discipline, keep your fingers off the trigger until you're ready to fire.

Yeah, everything looks really good them. Get an m1 garand with that cartidge belt, and maybe get a better helmet. Looks danish to me, or get a korea war m1 helmet, it would work even better. Really good Stuff you have there!

Guitarmaster, heres a tip, let the straps to your musset mag out as long as possible then you can hook the rings at the bottom of it to the back hooks of your suspenders, this will prevent the musset bag from slipping and sliding all around as you run.

Stanislav, Where did you get the M3 Grease gun in the last couple of shots? Is it real or a replica?

They are completely airsoft armed, but they have a resource of real guns to play "models" ) also.

Airsoft. These guns we have borrowed from our friend. The Thompson and M3 aren't fire capable.

How "deactivated" is the M3? CAn you fire blanks through it or is the bolt welded?

tagg, I agree it looks really good.
BTW, what kind of suspenders are those?

I was told that they were late war suspenders by Cpt. Zak. As far as the official designation, I cannot remember. I've talked with Mauser98k, and some improvements were suggested for my impression:
-M-43 field jacket -M1 Helmet -Replace the double buckle boots with something (roughouts or actual double buckles)
There were a couple other things, but I'm a bit strapped for time at the moment, thanks for the comments!

of those things, Id say get a real or repro 43 jacket next, the boots and helmet look good enough for now.
