What the hell is a "black accent"? When did skin color start getting accents? Does Cary have a "pink accent"?

For the 42 Guadel Cannal Riflemen those pants are actually US Army 1st pattern HBT pants. The USMC commonly wore the Army HBT pants early on.
and in the rest fo the pics the pants are some very well worn repro USMC P-41 trousers

Well Fantastic Job Again! Are you representing any specific regiment or just the 82nd as a whole. -Nick

I will likely be doing a pathfinder impression in the future since a buddy of mine does it and has loads of pathfinder gear. But right now no specific regiment.

Cary, your 2nd Armored impression looks top notch but may I suggest taking the scrim out of your helmet, or just taking the net off all together if you do not want to have to re-scrim your net. Seeing as scrim was not as common in the regular infantry/ tankers as it was in the Airborne.

Actually based on photos and interviews, The armored Infantry attached to the 2nd Armored were extremely camouflage concious and netting and scrim was extremely prevalent all through the summer and even Fall of 44 in Northern Europe. M-41s were often splotch painted and vehicles were regualrly covered in garnish and pattern painted. This was more extensively practiced by the 2nd Armored division then any other unit in Europe. It's great to see the European Camo pattern in both Adler and Ivys photos but in both cases scrim in the Helmet netting would be more correct for those units though certainly not universal.

in the pics of the 2nd with camo's its about 50/50 with scrim and with out so its really your call. looks like a good start Adler but i have not seen just the top as camo . so get some pants and you are set.

well, it is a pathfinder impression. Also, not how the jacket and trousers are two different shades. Thats what usually ACTUALLY HAPPENED, I used two different sets of m42's and mixed them. Thats my really "airborne'd up" impression. Its usually toned down by using cartridge belt, no scarf, the A-yokes tucked in and the chin up removed. Sometime's I drop the m3 and m6 as well, too much of a nuisance when I already have a bayonet. Keep the comment's/criticism coming, I like it.
Valterri, that BAR's really a show stopper. But dont to do away with the goggles completely if it's not necessary, they draw away from the impression somewhat. Also, what suspender system are you using? a haversack? EDIT: forgot to add, looks like you may need a unit patch.

Guys would often strip their jackets of unit patches, so he doesn't necessarily NEED one.
Nice impressions guys!!

Dog, i would suggest a pair of leggins. I know that you can obtain jump boots, as they cost 75 bucks at the PX, though it wasnt common as that was over a months pay. Usually the only other people you see wearing them is the Rangers or Engineers. The rangers though issued limited numbers had them all stolen prior to Operation Neptune/Overlord by members of the 502nd and 506th So they went back to normal leggins and service shoes or rough outs, for the most part. So long story short, i would suggest leggings. you can even wear them over the jump boots you have as they are the same thing. just taller then the type II service shoes. -Cary

I'd also hate to be the unlucky SOB who got caught by a group of paratroopers while wearing jump boots!!!

O ya... i have read about all the paratroopers would get into when guys either A didnt blouse the trousers right if they were para's or if they caught a leg wearing jump boots and blousing their trousers. Definitely not a place i would want to be in. -Cary

Butzen, I dig it. I too wear my mussette without attaching the two suspender straps, quite the pain that can be!
