1. Fallschirmjäger Division, 3. Regiment, 3. Battalion, 9. Kompany The 3rd Regiment:Officially formed in August 1940, FJR3 was considered combat ready by spring of 1941. The 3rd Regiment took part in many battles including the airborne invasion of Crete, combat action at the Neva River in Russia, the North African campaign, a second action on the Eastern front near Smolensk, the defense of Sicily, and holding actions in Central and Northern Italy. Perhaps their most famous exploit was their defense of Cassino, where the 1st Division blocked the entire U.S. 5th Army for months while under heavy bombardment from allied artillery and bomber squadrons. Recruitment Statement:The 1st Fallschirmjäger Division, 3rd Regiment, 9th Kompany, is inviting WWII enthusiasts to experience WWII history through tactical Airsoft combat, living history and blank fire reenactments. As a historical reenactment group, we seek the highest level of authenticity in all aspects of our impression. We do not expect everyone who joins to have every piece of clothing and gear issued, but we do expect them to continue to build their impression to eventually meet the highest level of authenticity. Our Mission Statement:We are WWII history enthusiasts that aim to portray a unit of the German Luftwaffe (Air Force), specifically the 1st Fallschirmjäger Division, rd regiment, 9th Kompany. Our unit, our members and the accompanying associations do not condone or promote Nazism or Fascism, Communist, or radical, prejudice racial beliefs. We wear the German uniform with period correctness only as actors. We seek only to portray the German paratrooper on the field of battle. We are regular Americans enjoying our hobby for WWII reenacting. Our recruiting Area: Upstate New York, North Western Connecticut, Western Massachusetts and South Western Vermont.. To contact us about joining the unit, please visit us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/#!/groups/FJR39K/

I am here, and as far as I know, I am the only Zack. The only problem is that I don't have an M1 Garand.
I will have a K98 when I get around to ordering it from Burt.

Tennessee but I go to chicagoland events We are only looking for people who are within a 2 hour radios of either Rochester New York or Albany New York as many of the team mates know each other personally and have time to meet up for the hell of it. However, we would be very glad to have you fight along side us and work within or with our unit. I just don’t see the point in adding you to our roster if we are not going to see you often…

We are still looking for new members! I’d also like to get a unit members list started up on the first post.
Therefore, if Sean or Gerry can help me with names of our units players, their field name, their impression rank etc. I think that might help those who might have looked at our unit as a possibility. Furthermore, maybe we should extend the range to within 4-6 hours of Albany? Which might include members from other States. IDK. We will have to see.

Welcome to the team.
We will be sure to get you battle ready and battle hardened before the end of the summer. It already looks like we will have four or more larger WW2 games with what appears to be three people doing events between NY and CT.
So save some cash. Preferably about $300 dollars; We need to fit and gear you up with the very basics of the German FJ impression.
Anyways… Sean will be your best bet in helping you build your impression. I also can help. Plus there are a lot of guys here on the forms with a lot of knowledge as well. A great community here really!
PS- I’ll see you tonight along with Augustowitz for some target practice and basic training in Airsoft WW2 related tactics etc.

So we have over 13 kitted guys and the group has a bunch of members that do dual impressions and fight as FJ with us from time to time. We are still looking for more interested airsoft re-enactors. The best way to get involved is to get us on Facebook on our private or closed group! www.facebook.com/groups/FJR39K/
