Sorry I dont have time to take new pictures of everything, I have to go to a local game in about 5 minutes. Playing against all modern airsofters, but one of my vietnam buddies from incountry is coming up from east stroudsburg to give me some backup. Everything is in the car, I am ready to get'some! Horah!

This is strictly the airsoft section of my 'war room'. The rest of the area is devoted to my tabletop wargaming addiction. My real steel collection has its own secure area and unfortunately can't be displayed the way my airguns can.

LOL. No, capitalism is a wonderful thing. Pretty much anything and everything is available if you have the cash. ;D
That is just the uniforms and gear I'm using at the moment. I've got several large storage tubs full of the other body armors and webgear that don't get used that often. Mostly my Vietnam and WWII American stuff.

My room sucks compaired to that.... I am re modling (one thing I will tell you is My bunk beds are being turned into a MG nest w/ cammo netting and all (I sleep on the floor most of the time) But right now I am about to paint so my basement (a verry classy room with a bar, pool table, darts and a cool clasic look (Late 20's-mid 40's look) is loaded with my military collection (Now it seems like it sucks Thanks a lot) Hope to post soon

hey, dont feel bad about being out-done by these guys, its like getting struck out by a professional MLB pitcher at a little league game. my war room was originally my grandfathers army trunk, then it moved up to a part of the boiler room in the basement, now its in the process of invading my section of the basement (kinda getting crammed with a computer, tv, pool table, darts, massive purple couch, coffee table, and all those other goodies us americans love). I'll try not to forget to post some pics when it all gets organized.

We built our new house last year with leisure in mind.
2/3 of our basement is finished off as a full blown game room. 8 foot pool table, standup video game console, dart board , card table and full bar on one end and the other end is a TV/video game room.
My 'man space /war room' occupies the other third and is behind closed doors. Thats also where I keep all my wargaming miniatures and normal models. The wife doesn't even want to go in there, so I have to keep it clean myself. ;D
The cool thing about being 45 and having the kids grown and moved out is that ALL the toys are now mine.

Schmitty.....I'm old enough to recognize most of those games (I always preferred Asteroids Deluxe to Asteroids). That game with the 2 Tommy Guns, I remember playing that in the late 70's and wishing those guns would detach so I could be the baddest kid on the block when we played "Army" in the woods. Awesome "office" Not sure how you get any work done in there though.

Hey Ripper; is that a real M16 sling on your airsoft M16? If so, where did you aquire yours? Ive been looking for one with no luck.

Yup, that is the real deal. The Marines still issue black slings with the old style buckle and clip assembly. I bought all the ones I have at a machine gun shoot in Knob Creek, KY a few years back.
Same thing with the sling on the M-249. Got a great deal on unissued black M60 slings. I have one on the airsoft M-249 and another on the real steel M60E3.
With my PVS-4 attached the SAW is weighing in at just under 24 pounds, so a rugged sling is a must. ;D

Well a day late, but better than never. I apologize in advance for the somewhat poor quality and bad lighting. My "War room" is in the basement, in a small room with 1 bright light, and white walls, not prime photographic conditions. It'll be "decorated" with posters, pictures, and other memrobilia when I get more time to work on my "happy place".











The pic's might have come out sideways for some reason. I ain't no expert on new fangled cameras; I like "old school" photography too much. Mods please edit/help if they want.

Nice room Yankee! My room right now is kind of empty, I sold 99.5% of my Vietnam Gear, and only have 10% of my WWII gear. The rest is enroute, being process, and whatnot, and I should have it by early to mid octuber, and I will be sure to take plenty of pictures. I love that Garand. I think it may be one of 2nd Bat's best!
