Right now I have 1 maybe 2 openings to do a custom rifle for people. Here is one of the latest builds and the reason I now have openings. I don't do more than 1-2 at a time so I can spend more time on details. I can do K98, MosinNagants(That are actually fieldable) or 1903's I have yet to do an Enfield/SMLE and would offer a discount for a chance to do one of these for someone. If you are interested PM and we will work out a deal. Pictures. Bolt area detail Frontsight and faux cleaning rod detail Full length photo. Magwell area without the mag in. Weird light reflection on the floorplate not sure why the flash caused that...lol Rear sight area detail.

That looks pretty good. But i have a question. Why isnt the normal front sight on the gun. I have also noticed most K98s on GunBroker have that kind of front sight too. Any reason to it? Jw.

you mean it is missing the sight hood? It's a seperate item. I don't normally put them on.

CN you've been coming out with some amazing customs! That Kar98 looks no different then the "real steel." I like how it seems when airsofters say real steel it sounds as if they say it looking on to a forbidden place and an operatic voice should sing a short hymn lol

Well thanks Morgan. There are always things I'd like to tweak here and there but I was pretty happy with the last two guns I have converted.

They both looked really dead on. What did you use for the K98? bar 10 or vsr 10? We need a non shell ejecting springer K98, same thing for a mosin, and electric M1 garands and carbines. Also springer lee enfields and springfields. I'd consider springfields the lowest priority though, unless you're doing early war marine impression or a sniper impression. I know some units were never issued garands, but we need the more common weapons then the less common ones.

Hello, I'm new to this forum but have been recreating the German style with my friends for years now with airsoft. Most of us have the AGM stg44's and mp40's. I just bought a AGM MP001 witch I believe is a copy of the BAR 10. Can u turn it into a K98? What would u need? Any real steal parts? or a Dboys k98?

The AGM 001 is an inexpensive VSR clone and will work fine however they have been quite unreliable over time and in my opinion aren't high enough quality as a base to go to the trouble and expense converting. I'd recommend highly inversting the additional 50.00 to 60.00 dollars or so on a Bar 10. The Bar 10 is not without the occassional problem (is any airsoft gun) but they have proven far far more durable and reliable than the AGM Mp001. If you're having good luck with it that's great and if you've got enough experience with it to feel you got a good one go ahead and use it.
The same steps and procedures spelled out in numerous threads on custom bolt action efforts on this forum will step you through a variety of approaches to take.

I monitor my posts generally. I normally only do bolt actions. A stated a BREN would be pretty expensive. I thought I saw a post on here where a company in China is working on a commercial one though.
