Anyone who would like to plan an event in TX should look no further. Kookaburra Hill Field in Temple, TX has it all! - 70+ acres of land - 1/2 mile+ of trench networks - ton of large hedgerows - good sized town - a few operational jeeps - an operational tank - an artillery site AND more to come! Like: - a downed plane and airstrip! The owner has several decades of reenacting and historical living history under his belt. He has everything we need to get a great event going! Come to ctaf.proboards.com to check out the main website for the field and join us in participating in a Valhalla of WWII airsoft!

as stated by jackboots the site is open and now all fields are running. i would like any one who is in the area to contact me so i can help point them to one of the forming units in the area. i have a full service store with over 100,000 items from WWI to today with over 200 guns in stock and thousands of parts on hand. the armored vehicles are being worked on and i hope to have them running by summer. also the field supports artillery, mortars, trucks, jeeps, and other gear. if you want to be a part of the TX/LA/OK/AR WWII community please contact me. thanks Dave alleramilitaria@aol.com below, trench system 600 x 600+ out of date but you get the hint. Looks great I hope you can get a strong WW2 airsoft comunity going in the area. I'm sure this year or next some of us in the SE would love to make a little road trip over your way. Some current ground level pics would be great as well. Looking forward to how this pans out.

its working well now, we have a strong weekly milsim community and its only growing. along with having a great stockpile of WWII gear, vehicles, etc some of the local former living history people are finding out about airsoft and liking it more than spending .75 per round for live gun living history. way out of date utube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=An_NKI1HUfY

Hey Dave, you forgot to mention that you carry the very hard to find Afrika Korps.tropical lowboots. How are you Bro? Charley November, this is one of the sites I'm trying to stage A North Afrikan or Southern Italy Campaign battle, let me know if you wan't to work together to stage a battle there,it's got everything.I've got some of the guy's who do regular Afrika Korps.reenacting that are willing to travel from Colorado and Florida to do a mixed battle here.It would definetly help if we could work together. If you check out the terrain,it's perfect for Afrikan or Southern Italian warfare. Please let me know. nope not yet, just today put up 300 ft of fence... purchased another 2 tent frames.... ran 500 ft of commo wire set another 10 pickets purchased another 10 steel fuel and water cans... placed 10 road signs...
tomorrow place 2 more small buildings i got today... build terraine table for town... sand bag in a fighting position... fix 6lb / 57mm ATG place 10 more signs... build sniper position at zero range... spend 2 hrs in the trenches adding things....
im cooking with mogas and i dont want to stop.
near the end of the month another 1500 ft of trenches.
you guys need to come down for the modern battle we are having at the end of the month. 75 or so players with 3-5 of them in WWII gear. would be a great chance to show off your gear. for the distance you are driving the field fee is 0.00 and the hotels are around 35.00 a room per night. cheap
