Hello All,
I'm new to WWII airsoft, and I'm just now starting to put together my 506th outfit. However, I am in need of a new airsoft rifle, however the one I want I can't seem to find.
I'm looking for either an M1 or M2 Carbine with/without the paratrooper folding stock...anyone know where I can find one?
I'll even custom build if you guys can help me find the parts....
Please help!!
Much thanks in advance,
-Rhodes

i love my gas blowback m1 carbine. if you can find it, its a great gun. the export model is what i have. there is an m2 on tokyo hobby and m1 on den trinity! great gun for a m1 carbine. oh and yes, the m2 wasnt in ww2.

I thought a lot about buying on of these ... they run around $450. But, living in the Midwest, it would only be functional 7 or 8 months out of the year. The temps here make using gas problematic. Considering the price, I could build two Garand AEG's for the same price. But if your heart is set on an M1 Carbine, get one of these before they are gone (you can disguise the M2 if you need too ) Best to you, WhiteRook

you dont have to worry about gas with this gun. on propane i get more than a full magazine outside, and it was 24 degrees in texas today!! that doesnt happen alot but it proves it will function in cold weather and still be as effective. its a great winter gun. blowback action is like music to my ears. outstanding gun. (are people getting annoyed of my love for this gun yet? ;D )

The banana magazine can't be disguised though, it pretty much ruins the look for me.

Be warned! of the dozens of guys I know who bought a GBB Marushin carbine Cole is the only one who has thus far had consistently good luck with it and as far as I know he isn't effectively skirmishing with it. If there are others out there who have also experienced positives with the Marushin GBB carbine sound off. Mine is for the most part an inconsistent plinker and wall hanger.

The 10/22 gas conversion does show some promise although much needs to be done to elminate all the infidelities currently there.

If there are others out there who have also experienced positives with the Marushin GBB carbine sound off. Mine is for the most part an inconsistent plinker and wall hanger. I also have an older version of a GBB Marushing M1 Carbine, it was the first airsoft gun I ever got a few years ago, and I use it so much I'm surprised it has'nt broken. They only problem I ever had with it was the trigger not resetting, and having to push it back. But this only happens once out of 20 times using it. Using it in the winter was'nt a huge problem, it did use a bit more gas but not so much that you would'nt want to use it. I also played a few games with it, and I was 5-1 last time I used it. After Christmas I have'nt used it too much though since I got my AEG M1 Garand. I don't think they make a paratrooper version though, unless you do it yourself. I thought about it since I have a 502nd PIR almost complete uniform of the 101st Airborne. Too complicated thought and would take too much time. But now marushin stopped making M1 Garands, M1 and M2 Carbines, so it would'nt be easy to find. Sadly I would have gotten an M2 because it's full auto, but they did'nt release the M2 yet when I bought it. So if you find it, definitly buy it and hang onto it, it's a great gun but extremely rare. I really hope they either start making their WWII rifles again, or new M1s and M1 Carbines are made to replace the old marushing ones. By the way, in WWII M2 Carbines were actually issued to Marines in the Pacific in 1944, and paratroopers in Europe in 1944. Well what it says on Wikipedia anyway.

I've been wondering why almost every store has the Marushin M1 Garand out of stock... I've had my eyes on one. But unfortunatly what little websites that have them, have them way over priced, which is understandable given the fact that they are discontinued. I'll just have to accept the fact that I'll never have one. Which is alright, as I've got an AEG M1

They come up used from time to time. Hopefully you'll be able to get a Dboys Gas Garand or possibly a new Marushin 6mm Garand in the near future.

I was hoping to find a used one... One in functioning condition at least. My M1 carbine came looking like it had been in storage for a good couple years, and I'd say that's a good find. I don't think a Marushin 6mm Garand will ever happen, and unless I see a picture of a Dboys or ICS, I'll keep seeking out a Marushin.
