Need to find a unit in the Central/ Western Ohio area. Want to get back into WWII airsoft and I only know of one or two units here in my side of the State. There has to be more than that, right? Let me know what's up, Ohio!

Try PMing Godo on these boards. He does WWII airsoft in that neck of the woods - or did. He had a group of Americans and their own site.

Yeah, Godo is one of those that I knew about before. Found it odd that units existed in IN, KY, Eastern Ohio, MI, and IL but not in west/central Ohio.

We should start our own WWII unit, you & I. I know several others that might join if a unit existed. I'm located just south of Monroe, Ohio just off of I-75. I've got several WWII Impressions: Airborne (101st both GIR & PIR) Std Infantry (4th ID) Marine (Raider) I also do blank fire reenacting with 101st out of Columbus. What do you say? Best to you, WhiteRook

While there is nothing wrong with those impressions and I'm sure you've put a lot into them, I often look for something that is just a bit off the beaten path for impressions. I'd like to use the impression to shed some light on a lesser known, but equally vital unit from the war. Not always SF and not always line infantry. I'm weird like that. The Marine impression does interest me though, because to my recollection, their isn't too many(or any) Marines in W. Ohio. Send me some pics of the impression if you got them. I'd love to see them.

What impressions do you have?
You can see several of my picture albums on Airsoft Ohio.
Just go to my profile page (same name over there too).
Thanks, WhiteRook -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is only one dedicated WWII Airsoft unit in Ohio that I know of ... and they don't come out very often ... Team Widowmakers. They also do a good Nam impression as well. I haven't seen them in field for over 8 months.

Now I have zero impressions. Loss of job, college, hospital, new job, kids, etc. have made me get into and out of this hobby more times than I care to remember. The last 4 years for me have been all over the map. I'm looking to get back into this and stay in it. In the past, I did a British Chindit and a Brit Airlanding unit. I like the US Marines idea and the US Army Alamo Scouts. The Scouts would be a simple, low-cost impression to do and may therefore appeal to those just entering the hobby. Hard to say. I'm open to anything. Just throw out some ideas and we'll see what sticks.

I live in Sidney Ohio and am looking for a German group to get into. Preferably SS but will take just about anything.
