oh and i have no adea on any of them. i also am working on a mountain impression.
which unit are you with?

Right..it's been difficult for me to find EM boards..all I've been finding are officers' boards. NOT WHAT I WANT! lol oh and i have no adea on any of them. i also am working on a mountain impression. which unit are you with? 2nd Mountain..I have a few buddies in Scotland who are in the same unit.

I assume you've checked all the main repro vendors, At the Front, Hessen Antique, 1944 Militaria, Ost Front, Bayonet inc, Military Tour, and Spearhead militaria.
I know a few of the vendors above carry a German rucksack. As for the mountain boots I don't believe any reproductions are made. I think Swiss mountain boots are similar enough though. Maybe someone who has done the impression can chime in as I know very little about this type of stuff.

me and my "crew" were invited to join the 6th SS during the east meets west game in nellisville. I have had no luck in finding any of the equipment. there are no reproduction mountain boots. Swiss boots are the standard, however i am yet to find ANY. AT ALL. i have seen a rucksack here and there, and i did find a place to get the insignia. but if you are Heer and I am SS, well you get my point.
my suggestion is lurk ebay.
whats your shoe size, ill keep a look out for you.

I've spotted equipment, but that was before I was interested in Mountain Troops...damn...
I wear 9.5's.
Where did you find your insignia. I mean I don't belong to an official group or anything so I'm still considering whether or not I want to be Heer or SS..depends on the equipment and insigs I can get a hold of in the future.

Yea I'd frequent eBay for the Swiss Mountain boots. You also may want to post on the WW2 Reenactors forum, theres a lot of good info on there too.

I'm doing gebirgsjäger too... Don't forget post war Austrian gletscherbrille!!! As safety googles. But not swiss, it's different. WW2 german is made from alu, swiss is made from copper!!! Swiss is anodized( ) dark. German remain shiny alu. More info from here: www.panzergrenadier.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=42

I have 2 sets of Tropical em gebirgsjager shoulderboards I'd be willing to part with for 10 U.S dollars per set plus $5.00 shipping to the U.K. I am assuming you mean the Mountain boots, alpine rucksack, maybe an Anorak and patches.
