I am most likely going to do a mp41 build, I just have a few questions. When was the service length of the mp41 was it only early war or was it the entire war? Was it used by a certain unit or did all the german units use it? Was it a common weapon used or only a few soldiers like NCO's and officer's? I may buy an mp40 soon and then a stock to make the conversion and then maybe some upgrade parts for the gearbox. If I decided to do this conversion I'll post pictures on the progress.

to my knowlage,
The MP41 was held up in leagle issues. Hanel sued Schmisser for stealing their desig of the MP40 which resulted in a run of only around 300,000 MP41s.
they were sold mostly to SS units and police units.
and were issued mid war.

Lost are only those, who abandon themselves
