Would it be possible and/or practical to create an M1 Garand that shoots 6mm, loads from the top, is GBB, and reliable? I know AEG Garands are the way to go for skirmishability, but could a CO2 Garand be made that would have the added realism of loading from the top? I was thinking you could store the CO2 Cartridge in the stock for fast swapping and then just use a CO2 GBB pistol for the blowback mechanism. Swapping out some parts and moving some. Is it possible/practical?

I would say that theoreticaly it could be possible. If the mechanism was being based of say a Marushin, then the gas system would need to be modified to run to the back of the stock or you could run it off an HPA tank. THe seals and internals would need some exstensive mods to take the stress tough.
