Hello everyone! I've been lurking around here on the forums for a while and with everything I've seen I decided that now I really do want get into the WW II side of airsofting and it wasn't just some passing fancy I had. Due to monetary reasons, the cost of a gun that is not a thompson, I have decided to go with a US Army combat engineer impression with an ICS Grease Gun. I have been trying to find a guide to what the standard equipment of and engineer was and if there were any uniform differences separating them from standard infantry? Any help would be much and appreciated, and thank you.

There is no difference in the uniform and gear between a regular dog face and a combat engineer , both wear the same uniform
M37 wool's M41 jacket HBT uniform Leggings and later M43 Double Buckle Boots M1 helmet ( you can stencil an engineers castle on the front if you want) M36 pistol belt M1910 canteen , cup and canteen cover first aid pouch either a 5 cell mag pouch or a GP bag.
Hope this helps you out
