My new small side business, Schwerpunkt Arms. The plan is to offer various quality Axis and soviet airsoft weaponry in small batches. The first production run is in it's early stages and will be 3 Kar98k's and probably one WZ.29 or a Kar98AZ. The base rifles are BAR-10s and the rest of the parts come almost entirely from DBoys rifles. The stock is a little different from the typical Mauser conversion. It's done more like the way a lot of people do Springfields. I reshape the Bar-10 stock with marine body filler and attach the fore end of the DBoys stock by fitting it to the Bar-10 stock and securing it with a screw which is the covered by several layers of body filler and adhesive inside and out for added strength and durability. The stock discs and rear sling attachment point are then added. The reciever and the bolt are done basically as everyone is used to seeing. The factory floor

I've thought about using the BAR-10 stock and re-shaping it but I never got around to trying. Good luck and if you need any tips or anything feel free to ask.

In addition to saving some time you'll find the magazine function a lot better. It appears to be a good start on your armory. Keep us posted on your progress.

I am not sure how much time is saved in the end. The magazine function will be smoother though.

Im a while, I would be interested. However, is it possible to have a wood stock? The Yugo m48 stocks aren't hard to come by, and they's make it a whole lot better

Obviously you haven't hollowed out a real wood stock and sized it all to fit and accomodate the modifiction. its not so much the cost of the stock used but the time, energy and risk involved in modifying it. He is building to facilitate a price point. You 'll note that the conversions when done using actual stocks like the beauties built by Ertzackjack sell for way way more than Swerpunct is selling his for and nond of these folks are realistically compensated for their time and expertise.

How do you make the barrel skinnier than normal, because I'm working on a springfield and it's pretty much the same mechanics.
