I hope it has a milled trigger guard. The one slot front locking lug and sight locks could probably be replicated pretty easily but I don't think I could pull off the triggerguard at home.

I am not sure the amount of detail they will go into but I sure hope they do it right! No matter what the year or production they are modeling, hey, it is still the only AEG Garand we know of *cough cough ICS* *cough cough plastic fake 8mm marushin aeg cough* This though has come to mind, what is the likely hood that they would produce a limited porduction for M1D/C, Tankers, or Mini-Gs? I would love to see the sniper variant....although I gaurantee I cannot afford it...

From the pictures it seems they aren't doing the milled trigger guard, lock bar sights, or a slotted hand guard clip. Too bad really. The G&G M1 Garand will definitely be a winner because it is using M14 internals which we already know are great.
I hope the ICS Garand is decent too as its the one most people will be able to afford.

No doubt, a seller (to me anyways) is if I can accept M14 magazines too for skirmishability reasons. Since 90% of the time I am running against M4s.....But for WWII and casual airsoft, I expect this to be a performer out of the box! G&G has always put out quality products!

Then use a Thompson for your uber days. The Garand is intended for WW.

Meh, I do not like the feel of Thompsons, very clumsy to me. I will take a Garand no matter what! Just wishful thinking. I just do not like buying a gun that I will use once a year! In the end I will be mine I am sure.

I doubt it will take M14 magazines though I am sure it could be modified to if nothing else.

Well, I do not mind size, it is just the way the stock feels on the Thompsons. Garand rifles and rifles with wristed stocks are not uncomfortable for me. So we are about a month or two away until we hear an update from G&G.

sgttom I was looking at the new mag and with the step up and the way it slides over the hopup rather than placed on it I really don't see how a m14 could be made to work in this gun. I suppose we will have to wait and see. I wanted to see about using one on my M1 Garand build, but quickly saw that there was no way it could be made to work. I suppose that if the inside plate could be used it might work that way, but all is conjecture at this point. I guess hysterical patience is the name of the game at this point

I didn't know the G&G M1 magazine system was that much different then their M14's. Either way it doesn't really matter much to me. Well, I do not mind size, it is just the way the stock feels on the Thompsons. Garand rifles and rifles with wristed stocks are not uncomfortable for me. So we are about a month or two away until we hear an update from G&G. [/img] I've never been a huge fan of the Thompson grip either.

I used an M1928 Thompson for the first time last month in March, and I hated the grips (both on the M1928 and M1A1) I'm too used to the M1 Garand. But I did wish the new AEG's took M14 magazines too, I know it wouldn't be realistic but during WWII events that don't allow them, just use the shotgun clips or the ones that are made for the G&G or ICS Garand. And I really hope they make variants of the Garands that would be awesome ;D

Tanker, Mini-G, M1D/C, T20, T3! I would love one, but I may need to make my own, already planning on a Mini-G or Tanker!

An M1C/D is just adding a scope Not sure what a Mini-G or T3 is. But an M1 Tanker would be awesome, but first we need regular M1s! And we already have T20s ;D .30-06 M1T20 Garand

Mini G, a civilian modification and the shortest Garand I know of T3 Semi-Automatic Rifle (Forerunner to the M1 Garand)

The T3 looks pretty cool, and mini g is the shortest one i've seen yet too. Tankers I think would be the coolest, but now there will be alteast one of the M1s

I wonder what the muzzle blast on the Mini G is like? interesting that there's no sign of it in the pic. Maybe 7.62 Nato doesn't produce as much blast as .30-06? The T26 was rejected partially because flame at the muzzle would have revealed the firer's position. Not sure why they didn't come up with a flashhider for it.

How was their really bad muzzle flash on a T20 and not an M1? Wierd The T26 (aka Tanker), not the T20. 18 inch barrel. The .30-06 cartridge was designed to use a 24 inch barrel, so in a shorter barrel there's still powder burning when the bullet leaves the muzzle.

I talked to G&G, they didn't confirm that pre-order date. They seemed to suggest that it will still be a couple months
