It appears that the best date for most involved is Saturday, June 2nd. The way this will work is players will be allowed to arrive on Friday, June 1st for setup and camping. What I would like to know is how many players would be willing to arrive Friday for a night mission starting around 8PM.
Just respond here. No formal vote.
But just an FYI, Saturday will be ALL DAY. We will start in the AM and go into the evening hours. There will be at least three D-Day themed scenarios that I'm sure everyone will enjoy. I'm still working on the logistics, and I'll start posting the particulars very soon.
In the mean time, just give me an idea of who can make a night mission game.
If I can make that weekend than I would definetly be in for the Friday night missions. I remember the last Days of Days when we all arrived during the day and had plenty of time to set up camp and get organized and then did some night fighting till around 11PM and it worked out quite nicely.

sounds like this is really coming together. really disappointed to see this will likely be scheduled for a drill weekend for me. was hoping to be able to showcase some new german weaponry at this event.
Just got back from Vacation. I finalized everything with GZA and I will be posting the new event thread this weekend. Apologies for being "off board" for the past week, but this event is alive and well.
Dracul: It looks like it lost a lot of steam and I now feel bad for randomly dropping off.

stuka: I mean it's not your fault. It is interesting though that things are falling off as we are finally getting our ww2 guns with the type 38/96 and the enfield as well as it recieving a new loading system, it's kind of unfortunate

Dracul: I don't know, maybe its because all the guns are becoming available, there is a decreasing need for the forums.

Dracul: Most of the talk was about making guns, as all the uniform info was already out there, but now the weapons are out there and are usually decent quality.

stuka: well the forum is and should still be useful for updates on guns, creating groups/events and building kits

Cpl. Hicks: I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad to see this forum is still kicking! So much great info on here.

savoy6: anyone know if anyone still carries the enfield?

Dracul: I think Redwolf has a Enfield. If not or not longer, then not until G&G releases theirs. The old gas Iron Airsoft brand SMLE isn't carried by anyone anymore and was such piece of crap. Not worth trying to track one down.
