Hey everyone, this is Sean, head of WWII Airsoft of Florida. We are a group dedicated to themed WWII airsoft games. Currently we have about 20 players with kits, allied, axis, and civilian. We have games in Central and Northern Florida. So anyone in the southeast, please join our Facebook group to keep posted! www.facebook.com/groups/150397675038118/ww2airsoftflorida.webs.com

It is Sean again, we are preparing to have a game here in Florida sometime, most likely in the Central and Northern areas. Come join my group if you are in the South-East region!

You look good! All I can recommend is to take off the armbands, and givethat officer proper boards.

I'm in new joizee. haha, I'm already joining the 1st ss, but thanks for the offer. I am joining a blankfire unit, the 9th ss(with the stug), and have been a bit of a stickler for accuracy such as that, lol.

Also, armbands can be misconceived at times, especially ince you're doing waffen ss and theres no reason to have it. The officer boards, well, that's just me
EDIT: also, the one soldier has his shoulder boards on the wrong way. To be realistic, just take all insig, boards inluded, from the dot.

For our group, I also do not like to use bright and obvious use of swastikas because I do not want any negative public attention, I know all the WWII'ers and myself understand why we have it, authenticity, but just do not want the attention.

Just some constructive criticism: An armband on a german combat uniform isn't authentic at all. Neither are collar tabs on camouflage uniforms. Shoulder boards on Dot 44 are marginal at best. They were officially verboten but some photos show them being worn. Congrats on your group. I know how difficult it os to put together an all WW2 unit.

Here in Florida, it is nearly impossible to get players, much less find airsofters. It was a year ago that I started this group and I sought out to create WWII Airsoft of Florida. If you want to just keep up with events or chat, feel free to join

i certainly will stay in touch with you guys. great to watch a group grow. over here in the Philippines, things have gotten rather stagnant after 3 years of growth. right now we have fewer folks coming to the games but i hope things'll pick up soon! best of luck!

Fortunately, we are showing many players that the WWII guns can fight with M4s, AKs, ext. That is a common shocker to others when I get a 3:1 KD at my local field

So I am bumping this because I'm a noob looking to find out more about airsoft and I live in north central Florida. Seems like airsoft is unpopular here. Don't really see why, but I would love to do some Second World War stuff.

The facebook group is still active but it's just a general historical airsoft page as the head of the page has an itch for cold war shenanigans and there were too many different groups in airsoft to begin with.
One for vietnam, one for cold war, one for ww2 and all that jazz so he just combined them all.
