I am planning a Southwest WWII Regional Airsoft Event to be held in the Flagstaff, Arizona area either the third or fourth weekend in October 2012. This event will be complete with WWII armor for both the Allied and German units. U.S. M8 Armored Car U.S. M20 Armored Car U.S. M3A1 halftrack U.S. CCKW U.S. Jeeps German two 251/1 halftracks Type 82 Kubels motor cycles w/ sidecars Pak 35/ 36 anti- tank gun Flak 39 3.7cm anti- aircraft gun All these vehicles, possibly more along with smoke generators and other special effects to add to the event. This will be a 1944 Scenario themed around the fighting that took place around Aachen. We have not worked out whether we can offer food yet at this event. It will be a camp out type of event but local hotels are available. Projected cost ( which will mainly cover the vehicle transportation, operation, etc...) will be about $200-$250 per person with a minimum registration of 100 participants. this will be posted on www.ww2ahg.com roughly June 15th. Everyone will get a chance to ride in their vehicle of choice. If we have more than 100 registrations, we'll simply add more vehicles, possibly even tanks. Look for a well planned and exciting WWII experience. email me at chadlares@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The reason for this location is that it is a centralized location for the Southwest. SoCal, Col. Nm, NV are all within an average drive time and the transportation of the vehicles doesn't make it too cost prohibitive.

If I understand correctly, this is fire arm (blanks of course) reenactment, not an airsoft event?

Perfect setting for a future Afrika Korps type battle like say Tunisia ? Is this a blank fire or Airsoft event ?

Oh... was a bit confused because the website makes it seem like a strictly live fire reenacting group
