Good day all, I have decided to start a small group of WW2 Airsoft reenactors who would impersonate 7th SS Prinz Eugen. We would wear all the correct litzen and cuff titles annd everything, but it aggravates me that there are little to no people who reenact Prinz Eugen. If you are interested don't be shy!

There was a battleship called Prinz Eugen, however there also was a Waffen SS Gebirgsjager unit formed of volksdeutsche (Germans outside of Germany).

I faintly remember seeing a couple of reenactors (blankfire) wearing a Prinz Eugen cuff title. However, you are right. Such impressions are few and far between. Should be fun to see it when it is all done.
I currently am a member of the 3rd Panzergrenadier in Wisconsin and if you are looking for events you are welcome to attend one of ours. I do know that right now there is also an SS group that operates out of Chicago. They also do mountain troops, the Nord division I believe, and come to our events. If you are near Wisconsin, consider coming to some Midwest Ostfront Airsoft events. We do eastern front themed events and have a nice roster of vehicles including a halftrack, Russian ba64, and bmw motorcycle. Hopefully you are within a reasonable enough distance to make it to a few. We would love to have you.

The 7th SS is well know for its brutality. Wehrmacht guys give me evil looks For being SS, and I am from a relatively clean unit. expect some flack.
Also if you are interested please come to the October 20 game in Neillsville. we can always use more men.

Neillsville, Wisconsin MOA holds seven a year. Two are at Neillsville. Two at a field in Big Lake Minnesota. One in Pickerel, Wisconsin. One at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, and one at APOC paintball outside of Madison, Wisconsin. Information on all events is always posted at www.ostfrontairsoft.com under the events thread.

Madison WI, that's not far from me. I might actually be able to attend a WWII Airsoft event again! ;D

The wisconsin group are great folks who do a top notch job with their gear, their impressions and their events. They put on a caliber of events that are " destination quality." (worth travelling to!)
