Here's my latest quiz on WW2. Ill provide a quote and if you can name the person who said it and the battle it is associated with.

1. ? 2. General Mc Auliffe, Basotgne (must've mis spelled his name - it looks wrong) 3. Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto - After Pearl Harbor 4. Winston Churchill - after the Battle of Britain 5. Was it Fuchida or Genda? Signalling the beginning of the Pearl Harbor Attack from his Val. 6. Wild guess....Iwo Jima. No idea who. 7. Wild Guess....Some German General late war. 8. Eisenhower - D-Day 9. Montogomery or another british general on Market Garden 10. Harry Truman on the Atom bomb?

Kaigun Shōshō Keiji Shibazaki boasted this of his defenses at Tarawa, but only took the Marines 76 hours to defeat him!

I think No. 1 is Eisenhower, giving the go for the D-Day landings.
I think No. 8, "The longest day", was attributed to Rommel.
And I think No. 9 " a bridge too far" was either Gen. Browning or Gen. Horrocks (XXX Corps)
