Regardless that pretty much everyone on this site is extremely opposed to Tan and Water tunics and pant's well these are some in game photos taken at RPC's ww2 skirmish/battle lab run over the weekend. Thankfully I had some Zelt Rope, to fix my y straps since they broke in game. Also the field owner has an 8mm app for his Iphone and made these. Personally I think I need an app like that for my contour cam. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXD-3N-NNOY&feature=youtu.bewww.youtube.com/watch?v=yu-odXuvCrU

That 8mm App is really cool, but it seems to slip too often.

I picked up a 1956 Swiss Greenish Gray Motorcycle trench coat. I am curious as to how passable this looks. I was thinking about replacing the swiss buttons. For 30$ I think it was a good pick up though.

Definitely not for the Stitch thread because this is based on a fictional character with fictional gear, but hey, i have enough of the historically accurate stuff already...Major Konig Impression from Enemy at the Gates:

Cheap Sturm Dot 44, Home made Italian Camo M43 ppsh mag pouch and drum pouch makarov holster that fits the nbb hfc mauser HSC pistol very well. I know everyone hates the Camo but for New England this stuff makes one blend in with the surroundings very well. Tactically speaking its perfect. This is my Cheaply put together NCO loadout The brown box on the gas mask strap is an m-37 swedish phone dialer that I have found out can be used to tap into field phone lines. The Visor Cap is East German but I added the correct coccade and an eagle. Cheap Mp44 pouches that suck....but for 17.99 I felt it a fair price. If you see the shell behind me in picture 2. I am tryin to hollow it out and design and 88 around it. In hollowing out the shell I hope to be able to fire nerf rockets out of it. Because I am really into artillery pieces. I think it would be a cool yet functional prop.

I'll agree on the hair cut and getting the stuff dirty (I do it naturally at games however) but for the facial hair it stays. Though it is in a style that I have seen in some wartime photographs of german soldiers. Even if I wanted to shave it my girlfriend would have a tissy lol. Some from today. Some panzerfaust's being utilized. Since every member of my unit is going to have a panzerfaust we figured we would make a small instructional pamphlet....Still Waiting on Tress.

The Land Pirates all in all we ran 15 strong at this game (this was taken post game, people went home) and 5 were no show's would of been nice to be running full strength on our first trip out. One of the team medics has a very good FJ loadout. You can see him heal myself and another pirate in the video below. We don't aim to be 100% passable just good enough, we are airsofters and no one on the team has the budget to blow on expensive things. It was great, very little teething problems, we were basically the only team to get within sight of Bastogne (our commanders gave our unit only 2 orders all day and we achieved both) However the americans were numerically superior, had far more organization and alot more experienced players and command staff than the German Side could muster. How ever I mauled people all day long with my panzerfaust's. I had just been killed to death. Video incase anyone wants to see it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sD4Jq5-8nHc

Really needs a bit of fading, while i'm not a great believer in 'ageing' kit (it was brand new in the 40s), DAK kit would fade within days of being in 'the blue' and DAK recruits hated their uniforms being green as it marked you out as a new guy so they would deliberately scrub their unifomrs with salt water and bleach their caps to make them faded and whiter to look like 'alter hase' (old hares/veterans) The tall boots were also hated and usually cut down to ankle length when they could be. Your kit looks fantastic and 'accurate' but accurate as a brand new recruit who has just been issued his kit on the boat over to libya.
