It seems white pistol belts are plenty available and cheap. i would like to buy a half dozen (or more) GI pistol belts to set up with carbine pouches and issue withthe cheap carbines. Any savings add up when you're buying a lot of them. If I got a bunch of the parade / MP belts would they hold a dye if I were to attempt a Khaki? They are cotton canvas. Any one have any experience with this?

I would imagine cotton would hold a dye pretty well. I would try mixing tye dye colors until you get the color you want. I'm sure they sell kits at the stores.

There is actually a ryte formula for khaki. I have used it on cotton shirts before and had good results. I'm just not sure about cotton canvas.
