So I have been trying hard to get WWII airsoft more popular in the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley area, but anyone from anywhere is permitted to join, but it is preferred that you lived in CA. We already have some US impressionists, Soviet impressionists, and me, the line German. I hope to at some point get enough WWII impressionists here in CA and even enough in the Bay Area to get WWII MilSim events going. I heard something about ARC airsoft thinking of doing WWII events (not sure, they say its an idea) but if we can get enough players, it will definitely happen and we might get people from SoCal and NorCal to come. If any of you live in CA, please join the Facebook group with the link below captioned WWII airsoft CA. If you want to do a German Heer (regular army) impression, please take a look at the Facebook group with the link labeled 16 Motorized Infantry Division/116 Panzer Division (this is not an SS unit, so no SS impressions will be allowed. If you want to do SS, start your own unit or join an existing one). This is an unofficial unit at the moment, but we hope to make it an official WW2AA unit at some point. As of now we only have two members...that's pretty sad. Please read the groups description, and if it interests you, please join. I, at the moment, am the only German WWII impressionist that I know is around here and has a fieldable impression and would be very happy to get more. Please join, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! Also check out "Storm Infantry" profile on FB. it has allot of the members of our airsoft gamers who are friends with the profile. Also allot of pics from the many previous engagements. Oh yeah, and the March game will be free of charge.

Alright, but what if SB199 goes down? I'll cover my gun in white grip wrap, as white is one of the legal colors.

Law has not been signed by the Gov yet, and even then we have until next year at the earliest until it would go into effect. Also, their should be a grandfather clause, since we do have ex post facto behind us. You just might need a lawyer if some freedom haters take your gun and fine you.

West Coast Raiders are based in Sacramento. Primarily a USMC group but a couple of us have started FJ6 impressions and we have some 82nd, 101st and 91st impressions. We're not stitch nazis, with the economy, I tell the guys to do the best you can. Pm me or email (better) at swatdoc06@hotmail.com

Basically you need to be a lot more specific about what this is all about.

The stg 44 is a model already offered by several manufacturers and quite popular. A G43 is a gap that really needs to be filled but for our hobby right now a Spring powered (non shell ejecting ) bolt action Kar 98 is the most pressing need. Alinz 90 took this thread on a 90 degree hijack but if you're asking whats needed and have any influence with anyone...there you go.

Just going to throw this out as a potential legal place for a game. Boggs Mountain State Demonstration Forest. It's in Lake County about 7 miles north of Middletown (next to Cobb, if you can find that). It's run by the CA Department of Forestry. Several Airsoft groups I've been in have had games there, none recently (one group got banned for rowdiness). It's about 3500 acres, at around 3,000 ft. elevation, lots of pines, oak, manzanita. Also lots and lots of mountain bikers, some hikers and horse people. What they did in the past was designate a back, out of the way corner for airsoft games. There's free camping, but a large group has to rent a portapotty. Reasonable distance from the Bay Area and not too bad from Sacto.
