The vehicles are very cool. The halftrack is especially impressive.

Yes, thanks for posting those Alex. They are both loud inside and you can certainly hear them coming. Troy, the driver of the armored car has a trick he uses sometimes on the crest of a hill he will turn off power and glide down silently. If you are lucky you can hear the tires rolling.
The track went off the road at Pickerel and what you can't see is that the driver's side is sitting on a pile of boulders which are part of the road boundary and the passenger side looks like it is just resting on a little snow. It shouldn't be stuck, right? But just underneath the snow is glare ice. The track removes the snow, and the rubber pads just couldn't bite in for any traction. That road is private and never sees sand nor salt so that by February a nice thick sheet of ice usually hides under the snow which in this case there wasn't enough of. It was fun actually dealing with the real life situation. The track has been significantly tightened since then too. You can see it was too loose when the track is sent spinning on the ice. I liked being able to see that footage - you can't see that as a driver - so that I realize now that my decision to tighten the track was the correct one. This year, I'm going to see about adding foam sound insulation throughout the undercarriage to help with the noise.

People who assume a tracked vehicle can go anywhere don't realize how challenging mother nature can be. Only a rental car is capable of navigating any terrain.

Thanks Alex for posting all of those videos to watch. You're one of the few MOA members who post videos. Alban, my brother, and Wellnitz have posted some also and it is an aspect of the hobby that we all benefit from. Watching the halftrack and the armored car shots are always fun but I liked your 29 minute video of Torgau action. I remembered what a fun event that was. You captured a lot of different players and that was fun to watch how each person fights. Mike (Ersatzjack) grenades a Soviet at 13:10 on that video and I missed earlier. Both pea grenade throws. Lots of other stuff too. Your last video was also pretty cool. It was filled with a lot of action and Natasha played prominently. Too bad you moved...

Finally put a face to all of the posts. Frankly, facial avatars should be a norm on these boards. I don't understand all the unique junk that passes as an avatar. Guess it's my age...

I am technically challenged but finally was coached on how to do it. The plan is to update it from every event I attend.
