Korea was a war. Many good men died in Korea, yet they don't even get the credit of dying in a war.
Sorry but it peeves me.

I agree. The Gulf War is considered a war, but it wasn't as brutal as the Korean War. I'm not saying the Gulf War wasn't bad, but I'm saying the Korean War deserves the title war, and not conflict.

But, now that we've pestered him with that, lets help him with his impression. I am Aware that you are doing a German one, and I would advise that you finished German first. Then put all your money into NK after that.

I don't even think that North Korean uniforms from the early 1950's can be bought

There are several decent references on uniforms of the North Korean and Chicom soldiers who fought in "The Forgotten War.". Certainly google and images is a good place to start. The soviet style pleated winter uniform is the most iconic style and togethe with the ear flapped fur lined hat and PPSH or Mosin Nagant would be pretty epic.

The look is quite similar to the Verticle Pleated Winter uniform of the Soviet Army (late war). It is going to be a uniform that by its nature is going to be hard to feel hits in. To look truly authentic you will need several thousand comrades.
