Hello everyone.
Wow, been some time since I have posted here. I used to be a member over at the Ontario Airsoft WWII Re-enactors club. Since I sold most of my impression and have been off the BB-battlefield, I've had quite a few life changes. I haven't been able to get out to an event in years, but my interest in WWII history is as strong as ever.
I'm a huge fan of Flames of War and most recently, I've taken on a new project based on my interest in this period.
I'm producing a dramatic podcast (read: radio play or radio drama). It's called Atlantik.
It's completely fictional with some realism sprinkled on for authenticity. All names, units, actions and outcomes are completely fictional.
It's set just after D-Day and follows a small group of allied guys as they fumble through what seems to be a massive counter attack in France. This counter attack turns out to be much more. They don't want to win, they want to end it all. (did I mention, this is an alternate history kinda-fictional story?)
I'm really excited about it. I've got some pretty professional recording equipment (it's not our first podcast) and a whole gang of very talented voice actors. We're going to publish it on our website and iTunes.
What I'm looking for, is quite simply some high resolution photographs to use as both promotional material and 'official' material. I know the re-enacting community has the perfect combination of active photographers and proper-gear, awesome looking soldiers.
If you've ever taken a good photo at an event or even a posed picture of people or your gear (helmets especially), I'd be happy to include them.
I can give full credit, with even a link to your website or social profile. You would agree then, that I am able to use the photo's for this project.
If you would be interested, either head over to our site to email me (thedevilsbench.com/contact) or over basically any social feed @pr0l3.
I'm honestly not trying to be spammy - I know there's good content out there. Just hoping some people might be willing to share.
