Wow!
I can't say enough about how well these work as backups and loaner guns. For the money they can't be beat. They are easy to convert to respectible WW2 props are skirmishable (at historicl type events) and are quite reliable and durable.

I did some quick math. For the rifle itself, the money you save from the sale, you will use for their $13 flat rate shipping. So, its kind of equals out the how it was before the sale. $40 for the rifle, and the free shipping code worked for it. But you still will save a buck or two with this promotion.
As for the mags. 1 Mag, using UPS ground option, was charging me 10 bucks (from LA to MD). $13 Flat Rate is still applicable.
I now think this sale isn't has big as I thought. Buying onsies and twosies isn't the best, but if you buy multiple rifles and mags, you will be saving with the Flat Rate option. This is a case, the more you add to the order, the more you save. One big order, not multiple small ones.

I bought these in batches of four to six back when shipping rates applied as any order over $100.00 was free shipping. You could also combine other needs to accomplish that. If four carbines seems eccessive you'll find that your ability to arm folks you recruit with spare loaner gear and appropriate weapons will really help you grow this hobby. I rent a costume and weapon super cheap (which is more a means to guage a minimal level of seriousness by the players saying they want to come) but in doing so have more than paid for my spare carbines and I have 18 of them!

The price on these carbines seems to have equalized at around $50.00 with them showing up occasionally below that. It's hard to adjust to given the brief period when they were offered so cheaply. I am glad I bought a bunch of them so cheaply while I could and now regret selling a bunch of them after modifying them.
The reality is at $50.00 they still (in my opinion ) represent a good value. They are well made, easy to cock, reliable as any airsoft gun can ever be and good shooters for the money. Cosmetically tweaking them to be WW2 authentic is fairly easy. A good reliable AEG that is cosmetically on Parr is still on my wish list but for now these fill the void nicely.
