According to their sign I visited the largest Army Surplus store in America. It is off highway 15 just outside of Idaho Falls. It was indeed quite huge. I have been there a couple times before including 2 dozen years ago with my father. In addition to massive amounts of surplus military items from all over the world they have an impressive collection of WW2 vehicles including an M29 Weasel, M3 Scout car, Military bulldozer and WW2 halftrack. Beautiful static displays and cool items up on the walls. There was a huge tub with steel pots priced at 9.95 each. I rifled through the stack of about 200 hundred helmets and managed to find two front seam, swivel bale and one front seam fixed bale helmet. Needless to say I bought all 3. They are dented up a bit, show stacking wear and one has quite a bit of surface rust but two still had their original paint and sand textured finish. None had straps. A great find none the less.

I have seen it from the road but never had time to stop! Thanks for sharing!

I love that store! They have a unique Italian (maybe?) postwar jeep thing in the very back as well. Thier online store isn't bad, but better selection in store. My wife has regretted sending me in multiple times with a friendly "go as long as you like", and I have to rush through the last third of the store. It's worth the stop.
