If you look on the bright side, us TM thompson owners will still have the best thompsons, but more mags.

Yeah thats true, the TM Thomspon was the gun everyone buys when they first start WW2 airsoft, now it will be the crappy CYMA version and we will have the best Thompsons. But still I am quite curious about the mags, if the gun is $170 then the mags should be like $10 a piece for a 60rnd one. If this turns out to be the case then in about a month Ill be putting in an order for 10-20mags.

TommyGunner i beg to differ, i have the CYMA AK47S and once owned a TM AK47S, the new CYMA guns are hardly crappy, in fact my CYMA is shooting almost as well as my thompson. CYMA has really turned around in their quality, the cheapies are taking over... hide the kids.

i'd rather spend the extra cash any day for a beauty like the tm. i wanna c some cheap mags tho. cyma's gunce are somewhat contrevtial and i think the quality on their thompson wont be on par with the tm. you cant beat a product like the tm thompson, but you can always make one cheaper. Do we know if its an m1a1 because a cheap m1928 would be a nice welcome.

I don't want them to make a 1928.
Then I won't be as elite, and everyone and their mother will have one, regardless of whether it's historically accurate for them to have one.
Yes I am an elitist a$$hole.

Its a regular m1a1 thompson and i belive i also heard through the grapevine it should look as nice as a tm, its not a piece of crap because alot of new guns coming out of china are actually becoming better, magazines will probably be around 15-25$, my guess. Ill post more info if i get it www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4647261theres a picture of it.

it looks exactly like my TM thompson did when i got it.
that is definitely a CYMA, b/c you can see that awful looking white plastic in the magwell.
i for one am glad to see this is coming out, although i already have a thompson, this makes it so that both the german and americans have weapons in the 100-200 dollar range, making it much easier to get into ww2 airsoft.

Im with Nimlas, I really enjoy being in the small group that can own and able to show off an M1928.I loved first showing it to all my Modern airsofter friends and have them oogle all over it, especially when I told them Im making a Drum mag for it that will be a super highcap (with reall cap capabilities of course)

Now I'm gonna have an m1a1 like everyone else. What do you mean "gonna"? everyone already does have an M1A1! Anyway, despite the flux of thompsons thiw will bring, I hope it brings future promises of more and more WWII themed guns...I don't mind seeing new, good ones coming out, even if they are repeats.

Mabye they will make a 1928 with the gangster style grip. I believe marines had those. At least, I have seen footage of marines with them on Guadelcanal. Plus it would be cool to pe a partizan/ mobster.

This is great. It will sell like hotcakes I'm sure and will hopefully lead to ever increasing varieties of guns for us WW2 airsofters. I imagine based on recent experience it will actually perform quite well. I hope it's a low cap magazine and like tommy gunner hope they can be purchased cheaply. It'll be interesting to see what the price point is.

sadly i dont think they make one in the m1921 version. marines did use them but m1928a1's and m1a1's became more prevelant over the years.
