I have this leather jacket my grandpa gave to me, he said it was his in ww2. It has belt style buckles on the sleeves, and it has two false slash pockets in the front. And it has one zip pocket on the left chest. all zippers are marked talon, and it is marked inside: "Satin Tan, the coat of the stars. Genuine front quarter horsehide. Designed and tailored by albert richard." Is this ww2 era?

Albert Richard was a tailor in the late 1930s, so the era is probably correct.
