I don't see this as anything new. The Marushin Kar 98 version has been around for some time. The challenge everyone has with it is that it uses the shell casings which are hard to keep track of and expensive and it doesn't generate a lot of power. Especially when compared to the Tanaka. I've heard they are a decent replica and fine for plinking.

The only thing that is different on it is the stock is walnut, which is a light colored wood compared to the dark military stock. Also is shoots a little less hard.
