www.crete1941.com It just came out on dvd, I got mine today. It's about the men women and children of the resistance on crete during wwII. It covers from before-to the invasion-to the years fighting them after. It goes over many battles, the mass executions, capturing of the german general, a battle 400FJ vrs 18 resistance, the long awaited air supply delevered by the OSS in 1943, even about the little kids that acted as inteligence allowing them to make more lethal and precise assaults. It covers a bunch more as well. Anyways, thought I'd let you know. It is worth it belive me, it was made by 5 guys, but the reenactments (many reenactors included, they werent actors) they did were outstanding. They even have New Zealander reenactors for some of the New Zealand battles. British reenactors for some battles and for the hidding/excaping of crete. Even guys to play the part of the 6 OES (i think?) agents that were sent in to help out. A lot of the greek characters were played by their grandchildren! Overall a great documentary, I suggest it. And not because im greek it was great belive me. Silencer Yea there was a lot of run on sentences. ;D
