Hey all,
Ive got a Shoei mg-42 and one of the o-rings inside the air valve had pretty much disintegrated. does anyone know where I might be able to find the o-ring or a suitable substitute for this?
By the way its the small o-ring in the valve.
Any help is hugely appreciated.

Actually I meant the trigger valve. I need the small o-ring that seats in the groove on the .155 O.D. shaft. The o-ring was shredded so I have nothing to compare against.
Thanks

Unfortunately I did that. Nobody seems to know there either. I googled shoei mg-42 oring and all I seemed to get was a bunch of useless info. and a few links to WWIIguns.com which I see from the above postings is worthless too. Well I guess I keep looking and hope to find something close to that size . Thanks for the ideas.

i think they rarely die, my gun has 40+games under its belt, and it still shoots fine,
The orings that are in the bolt is a 5.8mm ID buna, these are used all over the gun, if that's the oring you need i have tons. My guess is the trigger needs a smaller one,
hey Tomio (of shoei) would sell you one. Shoot him an email, Ill PM it to you

the 5.8 o-ring seems OK, but I ll gladly buy some off you just let me know price.
And If you can shoot me Tomios e-mail I can ask him too about that other o-ring.
Thanks Gordak

How do you get the pin out to replace the feed tray? thanks

the cover and the tray need to be at the correct angle with is like 80 degrees from perpendicular to the receiver. (I belive) just tug on the pin with your fingers while you swing the feed cover and tray back and forth together, DONT USE A TOOL. -Gordak
